Geochemical Features of Volcanic Rocks from the Shaerbuti Mountain Complex, West Junggar, Xinjiang, China: Implications for Recycling of Materials

In this paper, we focus on the geological features of volcanic edifices and geochemistry intermediate–basic rocks Shaerbuti Mountain, which offer a new perspective recycled materials in study area. The consist calc-alkali basalt andesite formed an arc setting. porphyroclastic texture basalt, explosive breccia rock, distribution both agglomerate provide robust evidence that edifice exists Mountain. Based geochemical features, have been identified as being two types. Type I light rare earth element (LREE)-enriched patterns, with La/Sm ratios 2.27–4.03, Th/Yb 0.50–1.46, Nb/Yb 1.11–2.28. II display flat (REE) pattern, ranging from 1.83 to 2.43, 0.24 0.45, 0.87 0.93. studied rocks, MgO-Cr, MgO-Ni MgO-CaO present positive relationship, indicates clinopyroxenes crystallized. Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic compositions these basalts values 0.7045 0.7063 ((87Sr/86Sr)i), 6.4 6.6 (εNd(t)), 17.1300 18.3477 ((206Pb/204Pb)i), respectively. According isotope argue melts altered oceanic crust sediments were incorporated into source. We also evaluate water content (0.55%–6.72%) rocks.
